This is an exhibition of the Shinoda clan, who has been a driving force in the Shinshu ceramic art world from the Meiji era to the present day.
Iida, Shinoda Tokusai of Obayashi pottery.
Teseki, the founder of Metoba ware in Matsumoto Asama.
Giichi made a name for himself as a potter representing Shinshu.
Yuzo Kondo, a living national treasure who is Giichi's teacher and father-in-law.
The children Noriaki, Hiroaki, and Akiko who inherit Giichi's will.Yuuki, the son of Noriaki.
We will exhibit the spectacular works of eight members of the family spanning five generations in one place.
