The building is a one-story maroon mud-walled storehouse that is in harmony with the park and surrounding private houses. The works of the painter Chinami Nakajima from Obuse Town and the festival stalls of the Edo period that remain in the town are on permanent display.In addition, the special exhibition room holds 5 to 6 special exhibitions a year.
