Showhouse MemorialShow House Kinenkan

The first villa in Karuizawa built in 1886 (Meiji 19) by the Canadian-born Anglican Missionary Alexander Croft Show, who first visited Karuizawa in 1888 (Meiji 21). This villa was relocated to the Karuizawa Church premises at the beginning of Showa and restored in 1986 (Showa 61) next to the Show Memorial Chapel. In 1996 (Heisei 8), the town received the donation and released it.
