National Treasure Former Kaichi SchoolKyu Kaichi Gakko Kosha
A building that has been used as a school building for about 1876 years since it was newly built in 9 (Meiji 90). It was a “simulated Western style building” unique to the early Meiji era, and was designated as an important cultural property in 1961 (Showa 36). Reborn as a museum in 1965, it has published materials related to education and architecture.
