Tairako Hirabayashi Memorial HallHirabayashi Tyco Kinenkan
A memorial hall built by Taiko Hirabayashi's will.
The roof is covered with iron flat stone, which is a specialty of Suwa, and at the entrance there is a monument engraved with the words "I live", which Taiko liked during her lifetime and was also the title of the novel. The living room was recreated in the exhibition room after receiving donations of living room fittings used by Taiko. From personal belongings to materials showing interactions with fellow writers, etc. are exhibited along with a commentary panel.
Although it is a simple and small memorial hall, it is a space full of Taiko's achievements.
