Karuizawa Town History and Folklore MuseumKaruizawa Machireximin

The museum displays materials related to the cultural history of the road, such as pottery from the Jomon period and the history of the post town on the Nakasendo Road, as well as materials introducing the development of a villa area after the Meiji era, as well as daily life tools that supported the lifestyles of high-cooled areas. Chinese porcelain from the late Saburo Yoshizawa's collection is also on display, and there is a monument to Suikoura Midori who was relocated from the mountain cottage of Naka Karuizawa in the yard near the entrance.
