Azumino wood sculptureMokusho Azumino
Wood crafts started with the advocacy of Yamamoto Ding, a mid-Western painter of peasant art and Taisho.
Yamamoto Ding's philosophy spreads, and in the long run, the arts and crafts field is established in Shinano Omachi. Even today, simple designs and textured wooden sculptures are created from Shinshu's high fingertips and mallets against the backdrop of beautiful mountains. Woodworker Azumino exhibits the world of wood sculpture and sculpture, in which craftsman Sadao Takahashi expresses the way of the heart with bold, powerful and delicate poetry. We sell handmade works such as pretty plants and rugged mountain sculptures.
