In recent years, the momentum for a reevaluation of Meiji Kogei, which makes full use of transcendental techniques, is increasing.In this exhibition, in addition to the works of modern master craftsmen, we will mainly introduce new works by contemporary artists who have inherited the DNA of modern master craftsmen and have both skill and sense.
We will approach the world of transcendental craftsmanship that leads to the future, created from various techniques such as pottery, wood carving, metalwork, paper-cutting, glass, and paper craft.
