Karuizawa Ando Museum Opening Commemorative Project
- 2022.10 / 8 (Sat)-2/14 (Tue)
- Karuizawa Ando Museum
A museum has opened in Karuizawa that exhibits the works of Tsuguharu Fujita (Léonard Foujita), the most beloved Japanese painter in Paris.
To commemorate the opening of the museum, 180 of the approximately 150 works in the collection are on display.
Foujita swept the European art circles in the 1920s with her 'milky white base' nudes and became the darling of the era.
After that, he was tossed by a strange fate, but in his later years he lived a peaceful life as a Frenchman.
Please spend a relaxing time at the owner Mr. and Mrs. Ando's "art museum that feels like your own home".
