At the Nagano Prefectural Museum of Art, from 2018 (Heisei 30) to the following year, Ueda CityShinano Drawing Museum(currently KAITA EPITAPH Zanshokan), 33 rare and highly valuable works by mainly artists such as Kaita Murayama, Shoji Sekine, and Hideo Noda, who died young, were acquired (purchased) by the Nagano Prefectural Art Acquisition Fund. ) and received 357 donations.
At this museum, all 390 of these works are presented as "Shinano Drawing Museum CollectionSince the grand opening in August 2021 (Reiwa 3), it has been open to the public at collection exhibitions and other occasions, albeit little by little.
This exhibition introduces about 100 selected items from the collection along with archive materials of the museum.
