NAM Archive & Research is a project that introduces artistic activities and related artists in the prefecture.
This time, the first installment, titled "Life in Shinshu and Prints: Makoto Ueno's Perspective on the Postwar Period," outlines the creative prints that spread from pre-war to post-war times by people who sought to carve out their own lives. follow.
In addition, we will introduce the postwar situation as seen by Makoto Ueno (1909-1980), a printmaker from Kawanakajima, Nagano City, who played a leading role in the postwar lifestyle printmaking.
